      <title>VICTORIA LEAVITT JOINS POLLEN AS NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>London  — Pollen, the London based branding and design consultancy, has appointed Victoria Leavitt to its Board of Directors as Non-Executive Director. With immediate effect, Vicky will be responsible for helping to drive overall business strategy for the independent branding and design firm.</p>

<p>Vicky joins Pollen with significant management experience and a wealth of expertise across all marketing disciplines from a wide array of industry sectors including FMCG, beauty, healthcare, financial services and retail. </p>

<p>Vicky, who has worked in the marketing arena for over 25 years, began her career in brand management with Procter & Gamble at their worldwide headquarters in Cincinnati. This was followed by five years in product management and marketing with Kraft, overseeing new products as well as large established businesses. Vicky has also held senior agency management positions within Omnicom, Interpublic and Lighthouse/Cordiant (now part of WPP). Most recently, Vicky has been at the helm of two of Omnicom’s London-based branding firms as CEO of New Solutions and Managing Director EMEA for Siegel+Gale.</p>

      <title>REBRANDING NCH, THE UK&apos;S LARGEST CHILDREN&apos;S CHARITY</title>

      <description><![CDATA[<p>On the 18 September 2008, NCH, the UK’s largest children’s charity rebranded to become Action for Children. </p>

<p>After a brand audit revealed that just one per cent of the public were aware of the charity’s existence, Pollen were commissioned to develop a new corporate brand identity system, develop core visual messaging, build the ‘tone-of-voice’ and ‘look-and-feel’. Pollen created detailed and thorough brand guidelines and continues to support the charity as it rolls the brand out across a national network of over 450 sites.</p>]]></description>

With immediate effect she will be responsible for providing a dedicated focus on client accounts, overseeing production and excellence in client service. </p>

<p>Lucy joins from Stream Digital Media, a division of Ascent Media, where she led the development of digital services and headed up production and client services. Clients included many global media brands including BBC, Sony Pictures and Universal Music. Lucy was formerly with marketing and communications agency DeepSync, advising football clubs such as Manchester United and Liverpool. </p>
